While I can never hope to give a comprehensive resource guide to feminist porn, I am often asked in workshops and interviews for ‘further reading’ on the topic. I’m providing this resource list to function as a component of my basic Feminist Porn 101 workshop at Melbourne Uni’s Rad Sex & Consent Week, and will continue to expand it for those looking for the wide range of alternatives to mainstream porn. While not every producer here self-identifies as feminist or queer, all experiment with sex-positive and ‘ethical’ practice in the genre. Please note that I’m not specifically endorisng anyone present on this list – I’m simply attempting to provide a launch point for those unfamiliar with the genre to do some of their own research. Some of it may suit you, some may not, but it’s my hope that you find at least something that stimulates you erotically, intellectually, or emotionally.
